Equip Chrono with the prism specs, and a haste hat. So far, the fastest way i've found to kill lavos is to use Chrono, Marle, and Lucca. In the Bit form, the left bit has 2000, the body has 10000, and the right bit has about 30000 In the creature form, the Head has about 22000 HP, the left hand has 10000, and the right 12000 If you jump to Lavos through the Telepod, the Lavos Shell has 10000 HP Unfortunatly for the guards, this leaves Ayla quite capable of beating them up without resorting to getting any of her equipment back :) Not being the sadistic sort, the programers thought it would be kinda of nice if Dalton didn't chop off Ayla's hands however.

This is how you get Marle's most powerful weapon. If you choose not to open the chest, and THEN go forward to 1000 and open the same chest, the item inside will be powered up. Heres a hint on something i missed out on the first two times through the game, if you try to open a chest in 600 when it has a duplicate in 1000, it will say something inside is reacting to the pendant. There is some preaty cool stuff that you can steal from monsters using Ayla. I'm sure these are all repeats from the latest FAQ, so don't expect anything startleingly new and revealing. For anyone whos interested in Chrono Trigger, here are a few tips and tricks i've picked up along the way.
